My classroom

SO here are some pictures of this year's classroom at Salem Church Elementary. This will be my 3rd year teaching elementary school music and I'm really enjoying myself this year. I raised enough money with the DVD sale last year to have one of my walls muraled, which you will see in the photos. It's working out quite well right now and should continue to do so until I have some strange child fly off the back of my risers. More posts to come with pictures of BTSR and the campus where we live. Thanks for being the people that love us!

If you can't read it, it's basically a credit card commercial: "A rented violin: $80.00", "a song on itunes: .99" The joy of Making Music: Priceless

My muraled wall. With some really great characatures of composers, the work music and off to the right, a piano keyboard.

My wall of instrument posters, classroom instruments and floating music notes.

My desk

Music Rules tools. #4 says "Save the drama for your momma". I can deal with children who haven't had their adhd meds. I can also deal with bad behavior. I can't deal with the he said she said crap. Save the drama for your momma.
