Well, Here we are.

SO here it is. The moment you've all been waiting for. Well, at least the moment I've been waiting for. The ability to type out what's been happening to us in the past year and not have to tell the same story 50 million times. I'll give you the Reader's Digest version so I can catch everyone up to speed with the life and times of Mr and Mrs Hassmer. Here goes:

David and Kim get married
David and Kim move in to a wonderful apt. in Midlothian VA

David and Kim get used to being married and adjust fairly well to married life

David applies for Grad School at Baptist Theological Seminary of Richmond

David gets accepted to grad school!

David and Kim get accepted to live on campus in a dorm apartment at BTSR

David and Kim move for a 2nd time in 1 year to campus into an apartment 1/2 the size of their first home

David and Kim muddle through the next 3 months

David and Kim move upstairs (3rd move in less than a year) to a bigger apartment where they celebrate their 1st anniversary!

David starts his first year of grad school, Kim starts her 3rd year of teaching school.

Now we're at today. I know that's a lot to take in. Trust me. So here are some pictures that might help you visualize our wonderful 3rd apartment and where we are now. We live at 1207 Palmyra Ave if you ever want to come and visit!

And just for those of you that get a kick out us, like our moms, here is our silly story for the evening. Tonight, David and I could not figure out for the life of us what smelled like it had died when we sat on the corner of our couch. We were half expecting to pull out a half eaten french fry from between the cushions. After we moved the coffee table, smelled the arm rest repeatedly, turned on the madlight and reached between the pillows we discovered it. Turns out the hush puppies that David had gotten me a week and a half ago were still in the ziploc baggy in between the cushion and the arm rest. Gotta love that air tight seal:) More silliness and pictures to come. We love yal:)

Absolutely delightful to see you both in the blog world :-)

The words are a little small on the screen, though...

Anyway, I've subscribed to the site so I'll get all the updates.
